Unlike other operators, we dont presume that you want a direct replacement for the cover you had last year because a) you may not have the same vehicle as last year, b) you may need a different level of cover, or c) you need cover for a different zone in Europe, all of which are factors that affect the price of a policy

Instead, we allow you to choose a policy that is right for you based on your current needs and then apply a discount to the policy you chose.

This also includes coverage for single-trip policies because we reward loyalty even if you are not renewing an annual policy.

We discussed your experience with our assistance partners to better understand the circumstances. In most cases, customers are able to drive to a local garage, leave the damaged wheel for assessment, and remain mobile while the work is carried out.

In your situation, the most appropriate local repairer needed the vehicle to be recovered so they could fully assess whether the wheel could be safely repaired or if a replacement was required. Following their inspection, they concluded that a replacement was the safest and most suitable solution.

The good news is that, under your Gold policy, wheel damage is covered, so the replacement was included as part of your policy benefits. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased we were able to provide a solution under your cover.
